ABOUT CONNECTIVITY

The Connectivity Team works to enable safe multi-modal transportation for residents of all ages and abilities to access services and key locations in South Indy. In partnership with Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning, we are developing the first-ever Connectivity Master Plan for South Indy.

OUR PLAN

• Improved connectivity & infrastructure creating a healthier “village community” where pedestrians of all ages and ability are given the same consideration as automobiles.
  

  • Develop a community & land use master plan.
    

  • Implement Connectivity master plan focusing on health and safety, access, and economic impact.
    

  • Create & improve connectivity signage in the community.
    

  • Provide separation between and from automobiles with wider sidewalks, shared pedestrian, & bike trails.
    

  • Inventory & Improve transit stops.
    

  • Develop a plan for crosswalk improvements.
